Welcome To Jack's Vineyard

I named this land in honor of my dad who introduced me to the wonders of wine. Jaw dropping at first sight and immersing myself wholeheartedly, I began farming this ethereal Half / Acre block of vines in 2014. Dad would have loved it here!

Nestled at the base of the Mayacamas Range in Saint Helena, Napa Valley, this sun-drenched block of vines thrives in rich, loamy alluvial soil—ideal for dry-farming practices, which I eagerly adopted. Driven by my own curiosity and a deep personal commitment to sustainability, I also embrace organic practices and regenerative farming principles.

I Was Drawn To The Land

G’day, I’m Donna—an Aussie native farming, foraging, and fermenting in breathtaking Napa Valley, where it’s astonishingly captivating to live among vineyards and feel their energy through the life cycle of the seasons.

I’ve learned much about caring for the land and remain keen to give her more. Farming this vineyard is a profound gift, an immense pleasure, and, as we Aussies say, bloody hard yakka (really hard work)!

Here, I am present, I am grounded, I am healing. This place holds a sliver of my soul—I just love it!

Wineries Are Magical, Emotive Places

I never knew there could be a job so awesomely visceral until I started making wine. Wine fermentation is a complete sensory explosion, and I relish enveloping myself in it.

My dad had a modest collection of French wines. A humble appreciation that brought him immense joy. He delighted in how wine expressed itself, how it aged and evolved. With emotion as well as academic flair, he'd describe fruits and flowers, herbs and spices—told stories of places and people it reminded him of, memories that lit up his face. I was captivated in awe.

My winemaking approach is rooted in respect for the land and restraint in wine style. Old World principles meet New World nuances. My focus is to showcase the mélange of fruit, floral, and savory/spice notes, with my proudest achievement being vintage variation—reveling in each unique farming season through these thoughtfully crafted, elegant, and expressive wines.
